Stephanie Rest came into my life about ten years ago at The Tides Inn, at that time a member of "Leading Hotels of the World” She was responsible for our Spa in its entirety and swiftly improved the standards and staff training. A full review of all our products, retail and Spa services ensued and the resulting financial results showed immense improvement. I feel highly competent to speak of her technical and managerial abilities which come from a belief in creating a team, promoting exciting and creative treatments and then promoting them in innovative and appealing ways. It is through such actions that profitability is positively influenced. This role as our Spa Manager could not last as she had aspirations and ambition which have now taken her to the position she currently holds, running her own company and being an arbiter of change for the industry. She still maintains the youthful enthusiasm and Joie De Vie that makes her such a delight but it is now tempered with a rapidly developing business acumen. I have been amazed by the network of partners she has developed and how she can move in all circles. Growing the Spa and wellness industry, she has developed from a girl, to a Lady, to a business leader. I hold Stephanie in the highest esteem, she has always exceeded my expectations and as a rather traditional hotelier I have enjoyed mentoring her through her rapidly developing career. I have known Stephanie for the past decade and has followed her work very carefully, mainly on what she did in the Turks and Caicos Islands at the resort where she worked, the TCI is a very competitive environment for Resorts, Culinary and Spas.
